Festival Parking Assistant
Reports to: Festival Security Coordinator, Parking Coordinator
Job Purpose: To ensure safe, secure and organized parking for all festival attendees.
Qualifications:
- A valid Alberta Drivers license would be an asset
Work setting:
- Outdoors rain or shine
- Festival parking lot
- Festival gates
- Standing and walking
Timeframe:
- Friday afternoon to Sunday evening
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinates parking for all patrons, volunteers, musicians
- Two people are at the main gate entrance and incoming vehicles are directed to appropriate locations (vendors up to the top gate; performers to the back gate; guests of performers to the main gate)
- Two to four people in the parking lot ensuring parking lot organization
- As parking is the only area that doesn’t have good access to the music; every attempt to accommodate seeing preferred music acts will be attempted
- Along with security ensure no parking in emergency access lanes
- The ability to work with little supervision
- Ensures a safe, clean and friendly environment
- Provides a good impression and enthusiastically answers any questions about the festival
- Understand and complies with the Central Music Fest volunteer regulations and code of ethics
