Festival Site Coordinator
Reports to: works with Producer and all Coordinators
Job Purpose: To provide a safe, clean and workable area for the festival site, guests and performers.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience required
- Must be prepared to safely lift heavy weighted and awkward items, equipment, scaffolding and tents
- Must be able to handle heights as some ladder work maybe required
Work setting:
- Outdoors rain or shine
- Festival site construction
Timeframe:
- April 1 to August 31
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plans and coordinates all site installations and improvements with land owner, Producer, volunteers and suppliers
- Ensures a safe workable environment at all times
- Responsible for the protection and care of the festival site environment
- Responsible for the initial set-up and final take down of festival equipment
- Ensures the availability of tents, tables, chairs and power supply
- Coordinates gopher and fence crew
- Coordinates main stage tent crew, including scaffolding and clean up
- Coordinates site clean-up
- Provides assistance for the site take down of sound, stage, tents and other equipment
- Ensures all rented and borrowed items are returned in good condition
- Ensures garbage and recycling removal from the festival site to the proper location
- Parking grid set-up
- Provides a good impression with guests and enthusiastically answers any questions about the festival
- Understand and complies with the Central Music Fest volunteer regulations and code of ethics
