Keeping the Fire Burning
Where would the world be without Non-Profit Societies? These organizations, and the people who work in them, are the backbone of our community when it comes to providing goods and services that feed the heart, mind, body and soul.
And one of the major challenges that all of our organizations face, is; Who is going to step up and keep the fire burning?
In this workshop, we will explore a variety of strategies to help non-profits get clear on who they are, what they have to offer, and how they can attract people to carry the torch...
What Do We Want To Accomplish?
A clear “why” for each non-profit. Why do we exist? What is our purpose?
A compelling “elevator pitch” that will pique the interest of those that hear it so they will want to find out more about the organization.
A detailed description of what the “return on investment” will be for those who are considering being involved.
A climate of collaboration and partnership between non-profits.
A succession plan.
How Will We Do This?• Lecture-style presentation
• Interactive small group sessions
• Activities to foster partnership and collaboration
• Creating a custom-made succession plan template
