Security Consultant

Reports to: Security Coordinator and Festival Producer 

 

Job Purpose: Security consultant is on-site to assist in addressing any concerns or issues and is accessible through the Security Coordinator

 

Qualifications as an Asset:

  • Licensed security company as per Alberta Laws, paid position
  • Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local,  and provincial security operations for the protection of people, data and property
  • Knowledge of laws and government regulations
  • Knowledge of administrative and financial terminology and procedures, managing files and transcription

 

Work setting:

  • Outdoors rain or shine
  • Standing and walking
  • Office type setting

 

Timeframe:

  • Friday to Sunday Evening

 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Liaises with Security Coordinator, Producer, Police, EMS as required
  • Ensures a safe, clean and friendly environment
  • Provides a good impression to guests and enthusiastically answers any questions about the festival
  • Understand and complies with the Central Music Fest volunteer regulations and code of ethics
