Security Consultant
Reports to: Security Coordinator and Festival Producer
Job Purpose: Security consultant is on-site to assist in addressing any concerns or issues and is accessible through the Security Coordinator
Qualifications as an Asset:
- Licensed security company as per Alberta Laws, paid position
- Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local, and provincial security operations for the protection of people, data and property
- Knowledge of laws and government regulations
- Knowledge of administrative and financial terminology and procedures, managing files and transcription
Work setting:
- Outdoors rain or shine
- Standing and walking
- Office type setting
Timeframe:
- Friday to Sunday Evening
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Liaises with Security Coordinator, Producer, Police, EMS as required
- Ensures a safe, clean and friendly environment
- Provides a good impression to guests and enthusiastically answers any questions about the festival
- Understand and complies with the Central Music Fest volunteer regulations and code of ethics
